an Artist? what kind of art do you do?
part of my work Is to make other peoples art happen, adults and children alike.
I make stuff and experiences to help us people change how we see the world, and hopefully how we act in it.
I think there are certain parameters in which people view the world and in many ways they become constraints. I believe that through the renegotiation of how we view the natural world, gearing education toward experience that promotes autonomy and sustainable ways of being, and for "adults" to continuie to be like children; constantly engaging the status quo to answer what for! We can rid ourselves of the obsolete infrastructures no longer capable to support the very dynamic and highly interdependent needs of an ever growing world population.
The dream is: Art , ideally, as collective problem solving, to utilize the creative power in art to humanize science and the bureaucratic labyrinths of contemporary society.. To cultivate a reallocation of resources in our world to promote education and stewardship of the earth and environment and one another.
On Monday's I get to take care of seals and sea lions, at the Marine Mammal center. This is my favorite day of the week. I move through the world by bicycle. I love to be in the ocean and on rocks.
